Are Student Teachers issued district laptops?
Purpose: Explain the district access and equipment the Information System Department provides student teachers.
The Pasco School District provides student teachers with a network account and a PowerSchool Teacher account, granting them access to essential web-based curriculum resources and student information in PowerSchool, including contacts, attendance, and gradebooks. Through their network account, student teachers can use most district applications via MyApps (myapps.psd1.org). Since Pasco typically hosts 50 to 100 student teachers at any given time, we do not have enough spare staff laptops to assign each student teacher. Therefore, we ask that student teachers use their personal devices.
