How to cast to Viewsonic TVs in the Classroom using vCast

Purpose: Describe the how staff can cast (stream) their laptop to the ViewSonic Flat Panel TV.

Find and open the vCastSender icon on your laptops desktop. Then launch vCast via the icon on the TV.
Once vCast is running on the TV and the laptop enter the 6 digit code from the TV to the vCast app on your laptop
Once you have entered the code hit OK. If you get an error please confirm that both devices are connected to the internet.

Now you have 2 choices, by clicking the down carrot under the Cast button, you can choose to either Share full screen which will duplicate your main monitor or Share extended screen which will give you an extra screen.

Once you have made your decision click the Cast button. You are now casting to the TV.

To stop casting to the TV, open the app on your laptop and click disconnect.
