How to check to make sure your Viewsonic TV will play Audio using AirSync
If you are having trouble with your TV not sending any audio to the TVs speakers please check the following settings.
Make sure that you allowed the audio to be sent to the TV when you wirelessly synced to the TV using AirSync. Once you have initiated connection you will need to check the Share Computer Audio check box. (This cannot be done after you have synced it has to be done before syncing.)

Once that box is checked and you are still having issues the computer might have the audio set to your laptops speakers still. In order to change that option click the audio icon on the bottom right hand side of your desktop next to the clock (red circle) image below. Then click the audio option button the (purple circle) image below.

You will then see the next screen, make sure the audio is set to Speakers (Cast Audio) image below.

Your sound should now be working, one last thing to check would be the volume on your laptop and the TV. If you are still having issues after that please reach out to helpdesk@psd1.org
